The "Totem for Peace" is a trademark duly filed in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, any initiatives undertaken by third parties using that trademark or the word "Totem for Peace" in any context and for whatever purpose, it integrates to all intents and purposes the case of trademark infringement.
The "Totem of Peace", the work of the Turin sculptor Mario Molinari, is the symbol of the "United States of the World" and represents the Peace: it was chosen in 1997 by 3,000 representatives of 181 countries and since then the "United States of the World" with the "Fondazione Mediterraneo" are spreading this universal symbol by setting up the network of "Cities for Peace".
The Fondazione Mediterraneo has collaborated to the Jaguar Meeting for Peace – At the Foot of Vesuvius. President Michele Capasso and Mr. Leonzio Borea, Head of the Community Service National Bureau, inaugurated the Meeting for Peace, placing the Totem for Peace, by the sculptor Mario Molinari, on the unique prototype of the first Jaguar of 1934.

Under-secretary of State Stefania Craxi and the President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso assigned the title of “Peace-builder” to H.B. Mons. Fouad Twal, for his contribution to the realization of the Totem for Peace, by the Italian sculptor Mario Molinari, in the Holy Land.
The award wes delivered by Gruppo Fiengo, the company that will provide the 40 tons of molten rock to realize the Totem in Jerusalem.
The Ambassadors in Italy of Morocco, Hassan Abouyub, Egypt, Mohamed Ashraf Gaml Eldin Rashed, Jordan, S.A.R. Wijdan Al-Hashemi, Malta, Walter Balzan, Austria, Christian Berlakovits and from the Sultanato of Oman, Said Nasser Al-Harty payed homage to the original work Totem for Peace by the Italian sculptor Mario Molinari, which has been inaugurated at the Farnesina by H.B. Mons. Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarca of Jerusalem.
On the occasion of the ianuguration at the Farnesina of the original work Totem for Peace, by sculptor Molinari, Mayors from the cities where the Totem has already been realized symbolically hand on the baton to the Ambassadors from Arab Countries (Egypt, Jordan, Malta, Morocco, Oman) where the work will be realized next months.
Fondazione Mediterraneo assigned the title of “Peace-builder”, signed by the Under-secretary of State Stefania Craxi, the President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso and H.B. Mons. Fouad Twal, to the memory of the Italian soldiers fallen in Afghanistan who sacrificed their live sto defend democracy and human rights.
