After a few months of work - despite the blocks due to “covid 19 - the Fondazione Mediterraneo has completed the portal“ LA CAMPANIA DELLE EMOZIONI”. Nine videos from 2 to 100 minutes that tell, with 4K high definition images, the beauties of Campania. President Capasso thanked Rosanna Rinaldi, the volunteers and the members of the Scientific Committee who made possible what many call a masterpiece.
Precisely today when Campania is represented at the lowest levels, being able to tell it through the unique beauties of 16 UNESCO heritage attractions is an important fact.
“LA CAMPANIA DELLE EMOZIONI” is a project carried out by the Mediterranean Foundation for the MUSEUM OF PEACE-MAMT, with the contribution of the Campania Region.
(Project CUP B62I18000620007 - POR CAMPANIA FESR 2014-20-Specific Objective 3.3-Action 3.3.2).

The meeting of the “ad hoc” Scientific Committee of the Mediterranean Foundation was held in full compliance with the “covid 19” rules for the definition of the emotional videos to be included on the web platform “LA CAMPANIA DELLE EMOZIONI”. The Committee, chaired by profs. Michele Capasso and Massimo Pica Ciamarra, first of all expressed thanks for the qualified "voluntary" work, carried out by experts and men and women of culture, aimed both at the selection of images from the filmed material concerning 16 cultural attractions of Campania (Naples, Avellino, Benevento, Royal Palace of Caserta, Salerno, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Baia and Cuma, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento Coast, Capri, Ischia, Procida, Certosa di Padula, Paestum and Herculaneum) and the selection of famous phrases by travelers, poets, writers, etc. . to be inserted as subtitles in the various videos. President Capasso summarized the reasons for the project, due to the requests of the majority of visitors and tourists to the Museum to be able to enjoy the emotional videos on the 16 UNESCO World Heritage attractions of the Campania Region - already a gift of the Museum - not only in the physical spaces of the Museum headquarters in Naples in via Depretis, 130 but also on an "ad hoc" web platform, in order to make them usable and enjoyable all over the world: a need that has been further strengthened with the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic.

2019 closes with over 10.000 visitors at the "Museum of emotions". But, in addition to these presences, the Museum and the international institutions located in the Palazzo Pierce hosted over 150 international and national meetings in the 24 conference rooms, which saw the participation of about 12,000 participants from Italy and various countries of the world.
Considering the costs assumed by each participant for travel, accommodation, local and various expenses, the significant contribution of the Museum and international institutions to the economy of Naples and Campania can be understood.
A virtuous example of economic development through cultural enhancement.
Below is a selection of images and events hosted
