| The President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari, board member and director of the “young people and creativity” sector, spoke at the Congress on the “Future of the Arab Springs”. After having recalled the common experiences in various war scenarios together with “Sole 24 Ore” journalist Alberto Negri, President Capasso emphasized the importance of young people in reaffirming the system of values and shared interests in society, the fundamental principles of which are based on coexistence and alliance between the Arab-Islamic world and the West. |

| The President of the Fondazione Michele Capasso and board member Pia Molinari spoke at the inauguration ceremony for the Centro Congressi d’Oltremare (Overseas Congress Centre). After being welcomed by President Morra, they spoke of the “Euromed Civil Forum”, organised by the Fondazione in 1997 with 3000 participants from 36 countries, which had paved the way to the creation of this important congress facility. |  |
