The Anna Lindh Italia Onlus Federation recalled Predrag Matvejevic' on the day of his death: in particular his role as a member of the "Group of sages" set up by the then President of the European Commission Romano Prodi to direct the action of the future "Anna Lindh Euro Mediterranean Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures".
The President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, and Vice-President Caterina Arcidiacono - co-founders with Matvejevic of the Naples based institution - stressed the importance of the meetings in Alexandria where Predrag Matvejevic' with Romano Prodi outlined the cultural and political guidelines on which the complex action of dialogue for peace had to be built at that time.

During a meeting with architects from Campania - organized by the Architects' Association of Naples and the Fondazione Mediterraneo - the Federazione Anna Lindh Italia Onlus presented the project "Intercultural City".
Prof. Massimo Pica Ciamarra illustrated the salient points underlining the importance of this action in this particular historical moment and thanks to which cities will be able to produce places for the meeting.

The Federazione Anna Lindh Italia Onlus participated in the World Migrant and Refugee Day: established by the Catholic Church after the First World War when thousands of people fled from their own countries, it today recalls the responsibility of politicians especially on the more than 25,000 minors migrants landed in Italy in 2016.
The theme of migratory flows is considered the humanitarian emergency of the century and constantly recalled by Pope Francis.
