Some Poste Italiane executives - Enrico Menegazzo, Roberta Sarrantonio, Giacomo Bonsignore, Mariagrazia Paris - visited the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
Welcomed by President Michele Capasso, guests viewed some emotional videos on the beauties of Campania and the various Mediterranean countries and the section dedicated to Pino Danile Alive where Alessandro and Cristina Daniele illustrated the fundamental stages of the artistic and personal life of the deceased musician.

The ceremony of the first philatelic cancellation of the stamp dedicated to Pino Daniele took place at the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
Enrico Menegazzo - head of commercial philately of Poste Italiane - with Michele Capasso, Alessandro Daniele and Pasquale Scialò canceled the first copy of the stamp that Poste Italiane dedicated to Pino Daniele.

In national preview at the Museum of Peace - MAMT the stamp that Poste Italiane dedicated to Pino Daniele was presented.
Enrico Menegazzo, head of commercial philately of Poste Italiane, took part; Michele Capasso, president of the Fondazione Mediterraneo; Alessandro Daniele, president of Pino Daniele Trust Onlus; Pasquale Scialò, professor at the Conservatory of Naples; Massimo Pica Ciamarra, Academy of the Mediterranean.
At the end of the event the participants visited the Museum and the section dedicated to “Pino Daniele Alive”.

Students and professors of the "Carlo Urbani" State Scientific High School in San Giorgio a Cremano visited the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
The president Michele Capasso welcomed the manager Mariarosaria De Luca, the teachers and the students guiding them in an emotional journey of the Museum.
On this occasion Alessandro Daniele, son of the late musician, illustrated the section dedicated to “Pino Daniele Alive”.

President Michele Capasso participated in the events for the Centenary of the Grenoble Institute of Naples.
Accepted by the Consul General Laurent Burin des Roziers and the previous Consul General Jean Paul Seytre, President Capasso recalled the splendid collaboration between the Consulate of France - Grenoble Institute and the Fondazione Mediterraneo - Museum of Peace.
On this occasion, the need to address the common cultural activities to young people in agreement with the Institutes of other European countries such as Cervantes, Goethe and the British was shared.

President Capasso - who dedicated the film “Maria Pia Giudici to Sister Maria Pia. Joy in a simple life" - thanked for the great gift of Sister Maria Pia, an example for all those who work for peace, dialogue and solidarity.

The Fondazione Mediterraneo - with the sections "Académie de la Méditerranée", "Maison de la Méditerranée", "Museum of Peace and the Mediterranean"; with the branch offices, the members of the International Committee and of the Executive Council - pays tribute to Jaques Chirac and his vision for a Mediterranean of peace in dialogue with a United Europe.
President Michele Capasso, deeply moved by the sobriety of the ceremony but at the same time by touching moments like the music of Daniel Baremboin on the piano, recalls the friendship with President Chirac and his high sensitivity when he accepted the invitation of President Ciampi (July 2000) to transfer the headquarters of the "Maison de la Méditerranée" and the "Museum of Peace" from Marseille to Naples.
As a member of the honorary committee, he never failed to give the "Maison" and the Fondazione Mediterraneo its support and its highest consideration.

Great influx of young people and migrants to Museum of Peace to celebrate the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, wanted by the Church since 1914. It has always been an opportunity to show concern for the different categories of vulnerable people on the move, to pray for challenges and raising awareness of the opportunities offered by migration.
Pope Francis chose the theme "It's not just about migrants" to show us our weaknesses and make sure no one is left out of society, whether it's a long-time resident citizen, or a newcomer.
President Capasso recalled the thirty-year commitment of the Mediterranean Foundation and its staff in favor of migrants, summarized in the Museum's emotional journey entitled "Voices of Migrants".
Moments of prayer with the celebration of Holy Mass took place on the ground floor of the Museum in the Chapels dedicated to Don Bosco, Mother Mazzarello, Padre Pio, Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Pope Giovanni Paolo II.
The Islamic communities have held moments of common prayer in the Peace Museum Mosque.
