THE MUSEUM OF PEACE - MAMT RECALLS NINO CAPONNETTO AT 99 YEARS FROM BIRTH.

99 years after its birth, the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT recall Antonino Caponnetto through films, photos and stories that retrace the story of a great Italian magistrate, best known for having led the Antimafia Pool, designed by Rocco Chinnici in 1980, from 1984 to 1990. After the murder of Chinnici he took his place in November 1983.

A highly significant choice - said members of the Museum's International Executive Committee - because with the help of multimedia systems it is possible to bring the life of these great personalities of Catholicism among the people, in the central Piazza Municipio.

President Michele Capasso and the members of the Mediterranean Foundation and the Mediterranean Academy - Maison de la Méditerranée express deep condolences for the sudden death of prof. Pierluigi Maria Rossi, founding member of the Mediterranean Academy.
Professor of Volcanology of the Alma Mater (Bologna), Rossi was also President of the Degree Course in Geological and Environmental Sciences in Ravenna, director of the Department of Mineralogical Sciences and director of the Department of Geological and Environmental Earth Sciences.
