The press conference on the presentation of the “Kīmiyya” projectwas held at the Fondazione Mediterraneo headquarters, in the Documentation Center of the Anna Lindh Foundation. “The Women Actresses of Dialogue”, proposed by the Mediterranean Foundation - as part of a call from the Anna Lindh Foundation for internetwork activities - in partnership with the national networks of Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Italy, Malta and Tunisia with the involvement of all 42 national networks of the ALF. The project was selected and approved on 15 June 2017.
Eighty-four members of the 42 national networks of the ALF will join the project, as well as 10 international experts and representatives of Italian and international institutions:an important opportunity to reaffirm the role of women as the main actors of dialogue and peace.
The initiative was shared in real time with the members of the Italian Network in Naples. Many of them came to the proposal to combine the General Assembly of the Italian Network with the closure of “Kimyya”. Thisgave the possibility to the other members of the Italian network (in addition to those selected to attend the event) to meet other colleagues and the leaders of the 42 national networks and share the conclusions of the international conference “Kīmiyya. Women Actressof Dialogue”.
