TERRORIST ATTACK AT THE AVENUE BOURGUIBA: THE KAMIZAZE IS OF MAHDIA

The author of the attack with an explosive belt on Avenue Habib Bourguiba, in the early afternoon of Monday 29 October 2018, is called Mona Kebla. The terrorist born in 1988, comes from Mahdia, former capital of the kingdom of Tunisia (the Husseinites) to 60 km. from Sousse.
The attack, which resulted in 20 wounded, including 15 members of the security forces, in the center of Tunis, has not yet received any claims. The "Daechist" responsibility is not excluded, according to the newspaper "La Presse de Tunisie".
The attack is the first committed by a woman in Tunisia: a 29-year-old unemployed, Mouna Kabia, a graduate in Business English and from the region of Mahdia (southeast of Tunis). According to Tunisian media, he had never found a job in this area, but sometimes worked as a sheep-keeper to help his family. In recent days, she was seen in Tunis begging and screaming in the street.
Previously, the young woman "had never had any suspicious behavior or attitude, everyone can testify," said one of his relatives, interviewed by the Al-Ghad channel (quoted by webdo).
He unleashed his anger and triggered the lacintura "near the police cars", according to the Ministry of the Interior. "It was allegedly recruited by terrorist elements via the Internet," the source said. It was not considered "extremist" by security forces. For the Minister of the Interior, Hichem Fourati, it is an isolated act.
"It's a tragedy," said Tunisian president Beji Caid Essebsi from Berlin, where he was on an official visit. "We thought we had eradicated terrorism but I fear that it is he who is exterminating us," he said, according to statements quoted by the Tunisian press.
A declaration sent to Geopolis, the president of the Islamist party Ennahda, Rached Ghannouchi, "condemns this particularly cowardly terrorist attack". "It invites Tunisian citizens to defend and strengthen national unity".
The president of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, present in Tunis and very close to the Avenue Bourguiba at the time of the attack, sent a message of solidarity and fraternity to President Béji Caïd Essebsi.

At the Museum of Peace - MAMT, Sala Vesuvio, the interesting conference on the theme "Help and Healing by Spirit" was held, held by Dr. Hans Maier and organized by the Specialized Medical-Scientific Group (MWF) of the "Circle for Natural Help in Life "(international non-denominational and non-profit association that follows the path drawn by Bruno Gröning to achieve psychophysical wellbeing, the joy of living, the harmony with oneself and the environment).

SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE FONDAZIONE MEDITERRANEO FOR THE HURRICANE

A cyclone of rain and wind hit Italy and, especially, Naples and Campania. An event of this magnitude had never been seen before.
Storm surges have caused massive damage and the wind at over 140 km per hour has increased the effect of the storm.
The headquarters of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT suffered serious damage.
Especially the archives of newspapers and books of various countries, accounting and projects carried out for almost thirty years have been almost completely submerged by water.
"It will be a huge job to try to recover the recoverable," said President Capasso after having ascertained the extent of the damage on his return from Tunisia.
Thanks to the work of rock climbers and construction workers it was possible to repair the most urgent damages.

The international committee of the Museum of Peace - MAMT decided to verify the possibility of creating a seat of the Museum of Peace - MAMT – as a reference for the south shore of the Mediterranean - in the Medina of Sousse, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During timely inspections, president Michele Capasso - accompanied by Anis Boufrika and Faical Labayed - inspected several sites in the Medina of Sousse in order to develop an integrated project to enhance the Medina with the involvement of its inhabitants and managers of the fields of handicraft and hospitality activities.
