Fondazione (EN) - Who We Are - History

The Central Office of Fondazione Mediterraneo, and of the "Maison de la Paix - Casa Universale delle Culture", is in Naples at via Depretis 130, in the historical building ex Grand Hotel de Londres. Also the "Maison de la Méditerranée" has its headquarter in the same building.

During the years many thematic branches have been established in:

• Algiers - The Mediterranean Library
• Benevento - Development, food security and new technologies
• Caserta - Mediterranean Capitals
• Cosenza - Interreligious Forum
• Lecce - Mediterranean Cultures
• Murcia - Cities and intercultural dialogue
• Skopje - The Balkans and the Mediterranean
• Tartu - Classical Cultures

During the year manys bureaux have been established in different cities in order to sensitize the institutional actors of Euro-Mediterranean Partnership and the process of peace.
