We have launched an urgent appeal on the occasion of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
The host country of the United Nations has denied entry visas to a “permanent observer” state wishing to participate in the United Nations Assembly.
It is essential to find a representative venue that accommodates all the requirements for the necessary dialogue and discussion.
The “United States of the World” represents the solution to a situation that is no longer tolerable, including through a new image for the headquarters.
The current United Nations headquarters reflects outdated ways of building: the new proposal, on the other hand, will have emblematic features, rightly not contextualised.
- A spherical structure approximately 150 metres in diameter – like a large globe – resting on stone walls that follow the perimeter of the “Antarctic”, reached by underground shuttles. The slightly recessed top follows the perimeter of the “Arctic” and is suitable for arrivals from the sky.
- All the countries of the world in bas-relief on the opaque surfaces (with the names of cities and regions, without borders, only roads and connections that unite them, which can be added to over time thanks to computer devices). Inside, in correspondence, large accessible planted terraces. Oceans and seas that are 2/3 transparent and solar energy collectors to produce “green hydrogen” suitable for the energy needs of the complex based on natural ventilation, self-healing materials, integral water recycling, and “ecocenic biomimicry” principles.
- Inside, there are usable spaces of similar size to the current ones (Secretariat approx. 85,000 square metres; General Assembly + Conference + Library approx. 60,000 square metres); maximum occupancy approx. 12,000 people/day. Surrounding the complex is a park and play areas for the youngest citizens of the future.
