In an atmosphere of fraternity and emotion, Pope Leone XIV once again visited the Augustinian community in Rome to celebrate the birthday of Prior General Fr. Alejandro Moral. A visit with a strong personal and spiritual value, a sign of the deep friendship that has bound the two religious since the years of their formation.
The Pope's visit to the Augustinians' house, located next to the famous colonnade of St. Peter's, is not the first since the beginning of his pontificate. This time, however, the occasion was particularly significant: the 70th birthday of the Prior General, Fr. Alejandro Moral, with whom Leo XIV shares a long-standing friendship.
"I am very happy to share these moments with you," said the Holy Father as he warmly greeted the Augustinians living in Rome.
