The center of gravity of world politics which until the discovery of America (1492) had remained in the Mediterranean, subsequently moved to the Atlantic due to the emergence of the new states born in the American continent. This center of gravity, for some decades, has been shifting towards the Pacific due to the rise of the Asian states on the world political and economic stage. This book collects some ideas to "save" the Mediterranean, the cradle of the most ancient civilization.
