On 5 June 2025 at 3.30 p.m., the Museo della Pace presented “Suspended Identity”, the new photographic and video-installation project by journalist Duccio Giordano, a work in support of the Referendum for Citizenship.
A work that gives voice to those who do not yet have it, that tells of the right to be, to be there and to dream, without having to wait for a stamp, a permit or a passport to feel part of the community to which one already belongs. "Identità Sospesa' is a silent but powerful cry against the indefinite wait that many people, born or raised in Italy, experience because of anachronistic citizenship laws.
The event was also a moment of discussion and participation with speeches by institutional representatives, activists, sportsmen, artists and referendum promoters.
The exhibition was inaugurated with greetings from the Mayor of Naples and ANCI President Gaetano Manfredi, President Michele Capasso and the President of the National Citizenship Referendum Committee Riccardo Magi.
