CASA UNIVERSALE DELLE CULTURE

The Maison de la Paix - Casa Universale delle Culture is a place strongly representative, in which will convey the knowledge of the different identities and cultures, structuring permanently initiatives aimed at the spreading of peace, necessary for the shared development.

The Maison de la Paix - Casa Universale delle Culture (MdP) is a project conceived by Michele Capasso, approved by many Countries and international organizations. It is an architecture that keeps the memory of many Peace activities which created history, often more than the wars, but it is – above all – a space "to build” Peace.

The architectonical complex has an important symbolic worth: it represents the Countries of the World engaged in the Peace process and the Countries victim of the conflicts.

Proposed by the Fondazione Mediterraneo with the Maison des Alliances – together with the main adherent organizations, such as the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly, the League of Arab States, the "Anna Lindh" Euro-Mediterranean Foundation and others, the MdP represents a referent point for all the ones who dedicate their lives to peace.

The symbol of the MdP is the "Totem for Peace", an artwork by the Italian sculptor Mario Molinari which the Fondazione Mediterraneo is promoting all around the world, creating the network of the "Cities for Peace".

The first seat of the MdP was inaugurated on the 14th of June 2010 (Maison de la Paix - Casa Universale delle Culture) in the historical building of the Grand Hotel de Londres in Naples.

The action of the Maison de la Paix - Casa Universale delle Culture aims at improving the main activities of the "Universal Forum of Cultures" in: Barcelona (2004), Monterrey (2007), Valparaiso (2010) and Naples (2013).

The Maison de la Paix performs most of the initiatives jointly with the Maison de la Méditerranée.

Franco Rol - distant cousin, witness and main extraordinary biographer of Gustavo Adolfo Rol (inspirer of the United States of the World) - with great generosity has made 4 full-bodied volumes on a fundamental phase of Gustavo Adolfo Rol's life available for all to read online. At the same time, he has made them available in a broader horizon, which also includes the controversy on the existence or non-existence of the so-called paranormal phenomena, on which there has been a debate for centuries without there still being an effective and accepted scientific demonstration.
It took 4 volumes of over 1,800 pages in total, in addition to the 2,700 of the previous 6 (the first 3 on Rol's phenomenology classified and commented, the other 3 on mainly unpublished or little-known texts and writings and contextual analysis, from the 1940s to 1977).
These new volumes collect a huge amount of unpublished information and analysis, documentary material on Rol and not only. They also analyse the genesis of the myth, because it is a myth, of "magic Turin", which no one has previously studied carefully and which arose at the beginning of the 1970s on the wave of the parapsychology and paranormal boom following the participation of Massimo Inardi, who had met Rol and held him in great esteem, in Mike Bongiorno's "Rischiatutto".
In the intentions of the author and writer Franco Rol, these volumes will be a first great tombstone on the sepulchre of the sceptics, or rather, of the sceptic-negationists, with a CRITICISM TO CRITICISM not on the level of faith or belief, but on that of reason and a correct investigative and ultimately scientific approach.
The "Rol case" represents a formidable paradigm at the precise point of convergence between science and religion, reason and intuition, intellect and heart.

The United States of the World wanted to celebrate 'International Women's Day' by dedicating it to the innocent victims of wars around the world: in Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen and so on for a long list.
Throughout the day, the 107 large video screens in the Peace Museum projected images of women victims of wars whose dignity and lives were violated.
In order NOT TO FORGET what increasingly appears to be a tragedy of immense proportions.
President Michele Capasso thus addressed the women present and those connected via webinar:
"We want to dedicate this 8 March 2024 to the women victims of wars around the world who resist, who heal, who flee, who fight for life, who mourn, who stand against every war."
