| The President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso met with Nadia M. Hashem, the Minister of State for Women's Affairs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. At the meeting, after recalling the long-standing ties between the Fondazione Mediterraneo and Jordan and role of the representative office in Amman – devoted to young people and creativity – it was agreed that the monumental sculpture by Mario Molinari would be erected in Jordan and dedicated to women for their role in peace-making. On that occasion, President Capasso gave a copy of the Tricolour Totem for Peace, created for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy to Minister Hashem. |  |
