It was great to see hundreds of young people and as many parents together in the selections of "Interculture": the historic association that for a half century promotes youth exchanges on the 5 continents.
It was like going from the "thought" - the proposals on young people born from the General Assembly of the Italiana ALF Network (of which "Intecultura" is part) last November 11 - to practical application: severe selections, dreams, parents' concerns but still the awareness that exchanges and the knowledge of other cultures are the great wealth on which to build a better future.
So many feelings, so many emotions that the five floors of the "Museum of Peace" (the Museum of Emotions) found the ideal place with the nomination of the young participants as "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World".

So much excitement today at the Museum of Peace and the United States of the World with young people from different countries and confessions: with the 107 videowalls, video conferencing systems and Skype we connected live with Krakow and with so many young people present at the XXXIth World Youth Day.
Naples and the Mediterranean in Krakow and vice versa.
A day that truly gives a sense of what has been done and gives us all hope in a peace built by the young, producers of our future.
On this occasion, the titles of "Standard Bearers of the United States of the World" were awarded to many young GMC participants.

It has been held at Fondazione Mediterraneo the Opening Conference of events for the tenth anniversary of Anna Lindh Foundation with the partecipation of all institution authorities: 42 Ambassadors members of the Governor’s board, Consultative Committee and National Networks Leader.
The Fondazione Mediterraneo has illustrated the programs for young people involved in intercultural dialogue, including through the new means of information and communication.
