The Tricolored Totem for Peace, by sculptor Mario Molinari, was inaugurated in front of the Diocesan Museum at the presence of the Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe on May the 20th 2011 on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity.

The President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso and the Head of Institutional Relations Claudio Azzolini took part to the presentation of the new book by Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, "Questioni di Fede", talking with the lawyer Francesco De Simone.
The event took place on May the 18th in Villa Pignatelli at the presence of H.E. the Bishop mons. Rino Fisichella and the Neapolitan writer Erry De Luca.

The Tricolored Totem for Peace by Molinari was inaugurated in Coazze on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity and the celebrations for the Martyrs of the Resistance.
The Tricolored Totem for Peace was inaugurated at the presence of the President of the Committee for the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity Giuliano Amato and the President of the Committee for the Ossario di Coazze Piero Fassino.
"It was a touching moment - said President of Fondazione Mediterraneo Michele Capasso - for the celebrationsof the Martyrs of the Resistance, but also for the opening of the Tricolored Totem for Peace: artwork by sculptor Mario Molinari, who was born in Coazze and who in 1961, on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Italian Unity, realized the monumental work Forno di Coazze".

On the occasion of the inaugural opening in Forno di Coazze of the Tricolored Totem for Pace by sculptor Mario Molinari, the President of the Committee for the 150th Anniversary of the Italian Unity Giuliano Amato and the President of the Committee for the Ossario di Coazze Piero Fassino were nominated "Peace-keepers".
"It is with deep emotion that I give to my friends Amato and Fassino - said President Capasso - this award consisting of two slabs made of Vesuvius rocks: a place where my father, Mayor of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, was one of the architect of the Moti di via Medina, expression of the Resistance in Naples. The commitment of all of us must befor freedom and against all forms of violence and abuse".
The Giro d'Italia passes close to the Tricolored Totem for Peace

On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May Turin turned pink for the 94th edition of the Giro d’Italia. The city was protagonist of the first stop: starting from Venaria Reale and arriving in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Along the route the cyclists passed Corso Regina Margherita close to the Tricolored Totem for Peace by sculptor Mario Molinari.
