AWARDS CEREMONY FOR THE 8TH EUROMED AWARD TO THE " HOUSE OF TALES AND MUSIC” (Jordan)

The House of Tales and Music won the 2013 Euro-Med Award. The Awards Ceremony was held in Vilnius on 23 November 2013 in the presence of the Heads of the National Networks of the Anna Lindh Foundation. Participants at the ceremony included Andreu Claret, Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, and Michele Capasso, President of the Fondazione Mediterraneo, who handed this accolade to Rabeea Najm Al-Din Al-Naser , representing the House of Tales and Music. President Michele Capasso expressed his satisfaction for the acknowledgement.

XIITH MEETING OF THE HEADS OF ALF NATIONAL NETWORKS

From 21-24 November 2013, the XIIth Meeting of Heads of the ALF National Networks was held in Vilnius. As Head of the Italian Network, President Capasso participated for the Fondazione Mediterraneo while Elisa Adornopresented the Istituto Paralleli del Nord Ovest
At this event, the following themes were discussed.
- Objectives and Strategies 2014-2015
- Budget 2014
- Development of Networks
- The ALF+ 10 events in Naples
Among others, the members discussed the Arab Spring and the role that the National Networks can play. President Michele Capasso suggested developing joint actions to valorize immigrants to give greater visibility to young people on the south shore of the Mediterranean and events in Naples ALF+10.

The Panel for the Euromed Award for dialogue among cultures met to decide the theme for 2014. The composition of 2013: the Fondazione Mediterraneo, Anna Lindh Foundation, Bosnia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Gran Britain, the Lebanon, Mauritania and Libya.
