Since the beginning Fondazione Mediterraneo payed attention to the promotion of cultural dialogue among the Euro-Mediterranean Countries, in particular, to all those artistic forms that become instrument for dialogue: the music is one of them. Since 1996 the Fondazione collaborates with the Franciscan Ceter Oltre il Chiostro in the organization of the Epiphany Concert which is aired every year on the 6th of January on Rai Uno and on Rai International. Since 2004 the Fondazione is promoting all aver the world the Euro-Mediterranean Concert for Dialogue among Cultures, with great success. The Concerts in Cairo, Otranto, Naples, Rome, Cosenza, Cairo (Pyramids), Luxembourg, Barcelona, Algiers, Gaeta and Naples (Teatro di San Carlo) saw the participation of many Euro-Mediterranean artists and performers. The Mediterranean Award matches with both Concerts. |
THE "ARTOS" FOUNDATION WELCOMES HEADS OF ALF NATIONAL NETWORKS

The "ARTOS" Foundation in Nicosia welcomed members and Heads of the ALF National Networks with musical performances of the Olive Tree and "Movement Epilogues" and there was also a theatrical performance by the "Roof top theatre group".
President Michele Capasso and Pia Molinari attended the concert by the Palestina Youth Orchestra conducted by Sian Edwards.
La IV° edizione del LAMPEDUSAinFESTIVAL, manifestazione che per il secondo anno consecutivo ha avuto il privilegio di ricevere come premio di rappresentanza la medaglia d’onore da parte del Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano e che è stata selezionata dall’UNAR (Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali) come buona pratica contro il razzismo, ha registrato un’importante partecipazione in termini di spettatori, a testimonianza di una forte attenzione sugli eventi proposti, che ha portato sull’isola, oltre a giornalisti e esperti del settore, un tipo di turista diverso: internazionale ed attento ai temi sociali e culturali.
Back in Naples, on the occasion of the “Mediterranean Awards” 2011, the 11th Edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Concert for Dialogue among Cultures with “I Cantori di Posillipo”.
On the occasion of the 12th Edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Concert for Dialogue among the Cultures and of the Inauguration of the Totem for Peace on the terrace of the Maison de la Paix, the Cantori di Posillipo performed the Hymn of the Mediterranean.
